The Petronas Twin Towers are the highest skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur. It's one of the most famous attractions in Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas tower provides breathtaking views of the city. A must see if you visit Kuala Lumpur - the skybridge walk was worth every penny! Suria KLCC shopping mall at the lower ground. Many attractive shops to go. Petrosains daily exhibition for kids is worth visiting. As well as Aquaria which is connected to the building. There's water fountain and KLCC park at one side of it.

: You can get to the Petronas Twin Towers either by foot or by taxi. You also can use the nearest public transport that is Putra LRT.




BATU CAVES
Batu Caves. Sri Subramaniam Temple, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


Batu Caves is a limestone hill which is made up of a series of caves and also cave temples. It is located in the Gombak District, just 13 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur. Batu Caves is crowded with people especially during Thaipusam festival. It is free to enter the temple.

: You can get to the Batu Caves by taxi or Putra LRT.




NATIONAL ZOO

The zoo now has a total of over 5000 animal from over 450 species of birds, reptiles, mammals, fish and amphibians from all over the world. Majority of the animals here can be found locally. Thus if you would like to know more about the indigenous creatures from Malaysia, the Zoo Negara is a must visit. The entrance fee for asean foreigner is RM63 for an adult and RM33 for children.

: There are three ways to get to National Zoo by using public transport which is by LRT, RapidKL bus or by Taxi/Uber/Grabcar.




KUALA LUMPUR BIRD PARK

Just 10 minutes from the city center is 20.9 acres of land dedicated to some 3000 birds from at least 200 species. Visitors can take long strolls along the walkway of the park while enjoying the view of birds of various colors and sizes. With every step you take, there will definitely be birds that catch your attention. Some of the main attractions of the park are the hornbill park, the flamingo pond, the world of parrots and etc. The entrance fee for adult is RM67 and for children is RM45.

: You can get to the Bird Park by Taxi/Uber/Grabcar, bus or KTM.




CHINA TOWN / PETALING STREET

Day or night, visitors keep coming to Petaling Street to either dine on the famous street foods here or to get some good bargains on things sold here. Petaling Street is the shoppers' paradise if you want to bargain your way to some cheap things. Petaling Street is easy accessible by car or by public transport.

: It is possible to get here by Taxi, Uber/Grabcar or car but it is quite a task to find parking spaces here as it is always so crowded here.




SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD SAID BUILDING

The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is one of the historical landmarks in the city center. Located just opposite the Merdeka Square Kuala Lumpur and the Royal Selangor Club. Inside of the Sultan Abdul Samad building are the offices of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia. Among the important events celebrated at the Sultan Abdul Samad building are the National Day Parade on August 31 and the welcoming of the New Year. There is no entrance fee to enter this building. Other attractions nearby is Petaling Street and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

KUALA LUMPUR TOWER

KL towers also high up on the must-see list when visiting Kuala Lumpur. You can easily spot the tower from almost all over the city. The tower is impressive 421 m high, with an observation deck at 276 meters above ground as well as an open floor at 421 m. Before going to the "Observation Deck", you'll have to buy a ticket. Entrance fee for foreigner is RM52 for an adults and RM31 for children.

: Transportation that you can use to reach KL Tower is by train or taxi.





CENTRAL MARKET

Central Market is a good place buy local souvenirs and handicrafts. If you are looking for authentic Malay and south east Asian crafts that truly reflect the destination, this is the place! Everything is very cheap here and have lots of little stalls. You can always drive to Central Market but it is so crowded here.

: If you do not mind getting stuck in the jam, you may opt to drive. The better way would be via the LRT.
